Editorial Assistant / Language Reviewer — Artology: Studies in the Arts
Artology: Studies in the Arts is a new interdisciplinary, international journal offering a global forum for academic research and artistic creation in the arts — spanning painting, sculpture, installation, performance, photography, visual culture, digital media, music, theater, dance, and art education. Each issue brings together scholarly articles alongside visual essays, artist writings, interviews, and reviews, with a distinctive focus on bringing China's dynamic creative landscape into international conversation.
The journal is published by Milano University Press as a diamond open-access publication, with Peng Feng and Andrea Baldini as co-Editors-in-Chief.

We are looking for an Editorial Assistant / Language Reviewer to support the journal across its two issues per year.
● Language & copyediting: comprehensive English-language revision, proofreading, and stylistic polishing of accepted manuscripts.
● Editorial support: assisting the Editor-in-Chief with submission management, checking references and citations against the journal's style guide, and monitoring peer-review timelines.
● Doctoral students or postdoctoral fellows at Peking University (preference for candidates in the School of Arts, Humanities, or related disciplines).
● Native English speakers are preferred; candidates with professional-level academic English writing and proofreading ability are also welcome to apply.
Approximately 15–20 hours per month, flexible around the submission and publication cycle.
Remuneration is per month and will follow standard School of Arts (SoA) rates.
This is an initial appointment through the end of the year.
